Description
Female 2-2 months old Fullgrown (pretty sure) Not spayed I had to be pretty selective the first time around. She's ready to go, and I'm ready to get her out of the cold. She was already pretty well-behaved, but I've been working with her for a month because I like any dog I have to rescue to be fun for their new owner right off the bat, and it makes me feel better about everything. It's always very stressful for me. Somebody dumped her off seemingly in our yard a month ago in perfect health. Would love to keep her, but I'm not able to bring her inside since I don't live alone, and I'm not making a dog stay completely outside ever again. She had only been here for about a week, and was still learning how to adjust while not being able to come in the house, something she really wants to be able to do. I don't live alone, or I would already have her indoor-trained for you. Wherever she came from, it seems like she's been inside before (didn't smell any when she showed up), but potty problems probably won't be an issue. She's quick about learning either way. An apartment in the right situation might be okay now, but it's not something I felt comfortable with at the time. She's a good girl, listens, and cares about staying out of trouble. Has been around dogs and cats the whole time, and gets better and better with them, especially cats (was a bit shocked by this considering her age) since she knows she can't play with them. Likes roaming around with my 11 year old GSD mix. Any dog playmates should probably be on the younger side (and not really small), but she would love one. Mine are very old or little. I was going to take her for a vet visit and shots this morning to get some extra information on what all breeds might be in her, but I was afraid her new owners might want to save the first visit as a bonding experience. Seems to have a little Pit in her which is only noticeable by facial features sometimes, but it could be something else. Most of the time you can't even tell. Pit mixes seem to have all the smarts, and none of the aggressiveness, but I don't have experience with them. From what I've read, they're great dogs. She's just a really sweet, smart girl that can do everything you want. Cuddle, play, trips, park, training, hunting, etc. Seems to take notice of TV, and likes listening to the radio since she spends about 12 hours a night by herself (doesn't like to venture when it gets dark). Walks on a leash pretty good. Her collar, food, and whatever else you might want to bring of hers are on the house. Very small rehoming fee for her protection. Serious inquiries only. Only inquire if you're absolutely sure you want a new companion right now. Call or text at any time if you have questions. Can offer a never-ending amount of information so you'll know that she's the right dog for you or your family.
