Call for Teaching Artists: Arts Benicia is looking to employ a small team of enthusiastic an inspirational Teaching Artists to instruct an after-school arts program for elementary students. The program is Monday thru Thursday from February 28 – June 30; 2:30 to 5:30pm. Including Spring Break dates of April 11 -15 & 18, as well as a Summer Session: Monday - Friday during June 6 – 30. Three 1-hour classes each afternoon will be divided by age. Positions can be offered for just one day a week or various days depending on availability. Instruct on a variety of basic art mediums and concepts or share your own specialized craft to foster creativity and confidence to with students from 5 to 11 years old. Onsite instruction will be at Benicia Unified Elementary Schools.
