Jobs
Louisville KY
Description
We are a growing company in Louisville, KY that primarily digs and pours trench footers for slab homes. We also dig and run electric lines and sewer lines. There is a lot of opportunity for the future with my company, and I make it a point to treat my employees well. If you are showing up to work, not hungover or high, have a strong work ethic, are trustworthy, and a quick learner, I will treat you with respect. I like to create an environment with flexibility where people want to come to work. You will be put on payroll, which is weekly direct deposit with taxes withheld and a check stub emailed to you. You will get a progress related raise within the first 60 days, as well as accumulated vacation time. Depending on when you start, you will get up to 32 hours of vacation time for the first year and 40 hours after that. I am willing to train the right candidate to be an operator and foreman, but if general labor is more your comfort level, I’m interested in hiring you as well.. We run enclosed cab Cat mini excavators with heat/ac/radio.. the ideal foreman really only needs minimal experience running equipment, along with having the ability to pick up quickly. You also need a valid driver’s license and have experience with pulling/backing a dual axle trailer. Experience reading a print/ability to quickly learn how to is a must. You will be on equipment a lot of the time, but some manual labor, running pvc, pouring concrete (almost always using a pump.. we don’t do much of that dragging concrete all over the place) is also involved.. im not interested in hiring someone who doesn’t ever want to get off the machine.. you will have a company vehicle, company cards, as well as profit sharing bonuses each week. General laborers will assist the foreman in all of his duties.. clean out trenches with a shovel, help run pvc, pour concrete. If this sounds like a good fit, send me a text. I’m busy a lot of the time, and that is the best way to get ahold of me. Laborer will start at $16/hr with random profit sharing bonuses. Foreman will start at $18/hr with weekly bonuses, usually at least $100/wk (depending on how much income you generate for the week) once you have completed training and are running a crew on your own. Both will receive raises within 60 days or sooner
