We were at Resort Park just playing. This dog had been running around and my son tried to make friends. To my son's credit, he followed this dog around for two hours trying to figure out who she belonged to, trying to play, etc. Finally it was getting dark and we had to do something. The dog had run back to the playground where people were, and one mom managed to get it to stay put. I picked it up and brought it to my car. After visiting Petco, we brought her home, gave her a bath (she had jumped into the pond several times) and fed her. During the evening, I had posted on Nextdoor. A quick google yielded PawMaw so I took a chance. PawMaw fed Facebook and I waited. I checked Facebook first (and I appreciate PawMaw had its own messaging system) and saw the owner had messaged me! Without PawMaw, I'm not sure this situation would have had a happy ending! Within 3-1/2 hours, we had found the owners!
