Tortoise Rehoming

Description

Looking to regime two different tortoises. Just moved and I don’t have a proper way to take care of them in the new house. 1: adult, male Russian tortoise. This guy is a digger and an escape artist. Must have a sufficient back yard or enclosure. He has dug out of most areas I’ve had except yards where the gravel can keep him from digging. I rescued this guy from a friend who didn’t want him as a pet. His shell was damaged before I received him, but it has slowly been getting better. He is about 4 inches long and fully grown. 2: 5 or 6 year old Sulcata Tortoise, unsure of gender, I thought female, but “she” seems to be showing more male type shell shape. This was my first tortoise and I took her in from a friend who had her in a tank. The last two summers, I’ve had large green yards for her to free roam and she has done well. Just getting to big for me in this house, and no grass to graze. Her shell deformities were from her younger years, but seems to be leveling out now that she free roams. She is a just about a foot long and will get huge. She doesn’t seem to dog as much as some sulcatas, but does burrow a bit. These tortoises need somebody who knows these animals and is ready for the responsibilities they take. Including lighting, heat and nutrient needs. There is a rehoming fee for each of them. They usually free roam, so they do not come with any accessories.
