COBB COUNTY, GA — A mother of three said security tried to stop her and her children from entering Six Flags Over Georgia on Juneteenth because of their 'Black Lives Matter T-shirts. Maya Miller told WSB that a Black security guard pulled them aside and said she needed to call someone before she could let them in. Miller described the experience as embarrassing. After the call was made, the family went inside. Later she shared the incident on social media. The park called it a misunderstanding and has invited the family back as special guests. The park said it has retrained team members to ensure compliance with all policies regarding inclusiveness.
