Yo! Currently looking for cooks and FOH help for FOWLMOUTH NOLA (www.fowlmouthnola.com / @fowlmouthnola). FOWLMOUTH is a private supper club focusing on modern Puerto Rican flavors. Each dinner is fixed price and reservation only- meaning each night of service is more a multi course performance than a mad scramble as is typical of most restaurants. Compensation is $11/hr with shared tips amongst the whole staff, lowest we've paid hourly is $20/hr thus far after tips. No experience necessary for the right candidates. Responsibilities include: Prep cooks, 10-15hrs/wk: - Setup of space prior to service (arranging tables, place settings, flowers, etc.) - Prep help Thurs/Fri around 5-7 hrs per day starting at 10am - Prep help Saturdays (sometimes) around 5 hrs - Post shift cleanup - Recipe development assistance every few weeks - Deep clean every 3-4 months FOH, 10-15hrs/wk: - Setup of space prior to service (arranging tables, place settings, flowers, etc.) - Describing food and wine/selling wine to guests - Post shift cleanup and wine inventory cataloguing - Deep clean every 3-4 months Preference will be shown to those with: - Other jobs/flexible schedules (we sometimes close up shop for late night popups, or slow season) - Open to picking up shifts other than what they're hired for from time to time - Prior experience with Latin American or Caribbean flavors - Spanish language experience Why work with FOWLMOUTH? We actually have the most awesome guests, never having had problems with mask wearing, vaccine showing or over indulgence of alcohol. We're a very small team, meaning it's all hands in at all times. Each role has specific expectations that seek particular balance between workflow efficiency and guest experience. We're here to produce the tastiest, most accessible dining experience in New Orleans. Nothing more, nothing less.
