WHITE PLAINS, NY — A Yonkers man was accused of sending and exchanging sexually explicit photos and conversations to a minor via online platforms. District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Wednesday that Malston Patrick, 38, of Yonkers, was arraigned on the charge of first-degree disseminating indecent materials to a minor, a felony.
Patrick appeared before Yonkers City Court Judge Arthur Doran via video conference. His next court date is set for Aug. 7.
Prosecutors said Patrick invited and induced a minor to engage in sexual intercourse, deviate sexual intercourse and sexual contact with him.
Between June 5, 2019, and July 10, 2019, Patrick and a 16-year-old engaged in a series of chat conversations via the internet.
Police said the victim made it clear to Patrick how old the victim was.
Authorities said Patrick "depicted or described, either in words or images, actual or simulated nudity, sexual conduct and sadomasochistic abuse." He discussed specific sexual acts and exchanged explicit photos between the victim and himself.
Patrick was arrested Wednesday by the Criminal Investigators of the district attorney's office.
