Metropolis Logistics LLC, a Delivery Service Partner, has immediate openings for Delivery Drivers and Helpers in our Moonachie, NJ location. If selected for an interview, please familiarize yourself with the application. Those applying for the driver role will be required to take a scenario based assessment. Our associates work in 2-man teams, drive 16' and 24' box trucks and deliver about 40 to 60 packages a day. Here is why you’ll love working with us: $20.25/ hour for drivers. $15.50/ hour for helpers (can grow into drivers) Full time/ part time opportunities. Monday - Sunday. Morning & Afternoon Weekly pay, Performance/ Safety bonus, Paid time off, Health benefits and OT $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days and Referral Program* Growth Opportunities - Lead Driver, Dispatcher, DOT Certification What we are looking for: Positive and professional attitude Willing to go the extra mile to satisfy our customers Focus on safety, customer service and continuous improvement Team player and leadership skills What you’ll do: Safely operate your delivery vehicle at all times Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area Help with the load out process in the morning Handle customer packages with care Able to lift at least 50 pounds Able to get in and out of truck and walk up and down flights of stairs throughout your shift 30 to 50 times a day You must be: Eligible to work in the U.S At least 18 years of age for helpers and 21 years of age for drivers Valid Driver's License from state with residence. Good driving record IS MANDATORY.
