Kody came from Austria. I imported him at one year old he is currently 14 months old. I imported him for the purpose of becoming a police dog. Unfortunately this is not who Kody is! He is an extremely open, friendly dog. He gets along with dogs of all sizes. He does not have an angry or aggressive side. AT ALL. When confronted he stands his ground but he has no desire to bite or fight. He should NOT be purchased to guard your property, because he wouldn’t protect a cheeseburger. He would serve as a general deterrent only. He does look quite imposing with his dark wolf sable coat. But please do not consider Kody if you need real protection. He has been examined by experts and the type of training you would have to do is not humane, nor is there any chance such training would work. By definition he is a pet, also a candidate for training as a 🐕‍🦺 service dog for disabled people. He would be excellent at both. Just NO PERSONAL PROTECTION, NO IGP OR DOG SPORTS, NO JUNKYARDS. Kody has full preliminary X rays, he is totally healthy from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail. He has some obedience training and comes when called off leash. He is a medium sized male, about 75 lbs currently. He is crate trained. His activity level is medium. He will go jogging with you for miles but if you want to throw the ball for ten minutes that’s also OK. He’s not hyper. He LOVES to play ball and tug BUT ONLY with the person he loves and trusts. He will not play with complete strangers nor is he distracted by other dogs playing with balls. He only cares about his ball, and his person. This one owner tendency makes him good for service. As he will have no desire to approach other people. He is somewhat excited by other dogs but it’s strictly for play and meet and greet. He has no interest to fight dogs. He is equally qualified for family companionship. I am willing to take a substantial loss on my investment to see he has a good home, with lots of love, play and hiking. His good nature demands nothing less than the best possible situation. He fits in everywhere. He is affectionate with people he knows. Home visit and clearances required. Please call me if you think he is a good fit for you. If you want a cheap dog with lots of mental problems, he’s probably not for you. Adoption fee is negotiable.
