Looking for Sax player for get together sessions. . . . . I have played it all. If there's a style that you can imagine uses a sax I have likely done it, toured with it, recorded it, written charts for it, and/or run a band like it. Top 40, Blues, R&B, Ska, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Brass Band, Swing Band, Rockabilly, Jazz Combo, Did you listen to WRUV 1in 1993? I'm doing a research project on alternative and ambient music and I'm trying to locate Chris, last name unknown, a male student who was a WRUV DJ in 1993 for a radio show called "Tranquility Base". I enjoyed that show a lot and discovered some new music from it, and would like to not only let Chris know how much I enjoyed his show, but to see if he would be willing to provide some assistance in identifying a few pieces of music he played on air. Is there anyone able to point me in the right direction? Any help you can offer would be great..I am a drummer that has experience playing out and I am looking for a serious, committed band that has a eager to go all the way. I am mostly into any type of music related to rock (hard rock, alternative, progressive), some metal, and pop. Have 3 drumsets- practice, gigging, recording. I have learned a lot from the mistakes of lots of bands, and myself over years. Studio recording can be very expensive, especiallyOver 35 years playing in outdoor gigs, clubs and bars, in original and cover bands. I have a large play list of songs charted and in my memory that I can play now!! I live in boulder city, and will drive 40 miles to practice, if your closer great! I am good at many styles of drumming, swing, country, pop, but I like 70's 80s rock. My equipment and transportation are all set. Good backing vocals, maybe Seeking a competent acoustic guitar player for a 90s country band! Band members are all professionals with day jobs that are focused on making good music. Ages are 25-50 in the band. We play all 90s style country. Vocal harmonies are a huge plus if you can bring that to the table. Band has great talent, rehearsal space, and equipment. Come join us!.
