I'm a 24 year old Latina. I'm home alone..... . . . . I have played it all. If there's a style that you can imagine uses a sax I have likely done it, toured with it, recorded it, written charts for it, and/or run a band like it. Top 40, Blues, R&B, Ska, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Brass Band, Swing Band, Rockabilly, Jazz Combo, Did you listen to WRUV 1in 1993? I'm doing a research project on alternative and ambient music and I'm trying to locate Chris, last name unknown, a male student who was a WRUV DJ in 1993 for a radio show called "Tranquility Base". I enjoyed that show a lot and discovered some new music from it, and would like to not only let Chris know how much I enjoyed his show, but to see if he would be willing to provide some assistance in identifying a few pieces of music he played on air. Is there anyone able to point me in the right direction? Any help you can offer would be great..I am a drummer that has experience playing out and I am looking for a serious, committed band that has a eager to go all the way. I am mostly into any type of music related to rock (hard rock, alternative, progressive), some metal, and pop. Have 3 drumsets- practice, gigging, recording. I have learned a lot from the mistakes of lots of bands, and myself over years. Studio recording can be very expensive, especiallyOver 35 years playing in outdoor gigs, clubs and bars, in original and cover bands. I have a large play list of songs charted and in my memory that I can play now!! I live in boulder city, and will drive 40 miles to practice, if your closer great!If you're an improvisor, then you know it's tough to jam alone and the looper pedal is a pretty poor replacement for a thinking, smiling, reacting human with a real brain! So I'm looking for any fellow improv lovers in the same boat who would like to work on improvisation together about once a week. I'm 39 years old, play electric guitar and love most all improvised music. If we can jam on it, let's give it a go. Jazz, fusion, jamband stuff, blues, modal, etc. I really enjoy exploring diminished, altered and other darker, tense sounds and how they can resolve. Lost a section of pipe off the back of my truck, Mt read blvd near Ridgeway Avenue. if you have found a piece of pipe, I would really appreciate having it. Thanks.
