Seeking drummer into Spoon

We’re three musicians seek a drummer to join our band. Us: three gentlemen (one in his 30s, other two in their 40s) into garage rock, and indie rock and roll from all generations (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s… you get the idea). Garage rock but with other influences. Simple riffs, catchy hooks, upbeat, but innovative. Spoon is a primary and shared influence. One of us plays guitar and sings. One of us is primarily a bassist and the third is a keyboard player. We have around a dozen songs roughed out. We have day jobs and not looking to “make it”. But operating a quality band is important to us. You: a drummer, skilled, talented, contributory, participatory, committed and fun. Also prefer you to be keeping your shit together in life (as well as any of us can these days). Together: we rehearse most Thursday evenings at (an evolving) home studio in West Linn (free, clean, temperature controlled and secure). We’ll add more rehearsal time to prep for a show or to record as necessary but right now we try to be consistent but limited. We’re into writing and recording and recording as part of the writing process. And pretty much being a DIY autonomous unit as much as possible. We’d love you to bring and share ideas and participate in the band in ways beyond just keeping time. We hope to start playing some shows in the coming months, by summer for sure. Write back.
