We are currently looking for a reliable Helper to learn and perform essential upkeep tasks for our customers. The position requires training in various areas including painting, carpentry and general handyman work. Being reliable and self-motivated with an eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly adapt to new situations and be open to instruction. Ideal candidates should also have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary to lift heavy objects, work on ladders and work outdoors. Helper candidates will be considered regardless of experience and skill level but must be willing to accept various responsibilities. We service a wide customer base that requires all employees to go through a background check and pass a drug screen. All work sites are drug and alcohol free work-places. Must have a valid SC driver's license and have own transportation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to- Performing renovations or remodeling for customers to update and upgrade the space. Install appliances and equipment. Perform minor fixes such as sheetrock repair, replacing door locks, touch up paint, etc. Perform necessary cleaning activities such as sweeping, dusting, trash removal, etc. Ability to read and follow manufacturer's directions. Problem solving experience. Ability to work with hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with co-workers and other professionals on the job site to complete jobs to customer standards.
