Local 'Oldies' Band Seeks Singer

Hello everyone, I am one of the guitar players with a band in town and we are in desperate need of a vocalist for our band. We are primarily a cover group at this point but are working our way into originals, new arrangements, etc. We do a lot of older music but we're doing our best to put our own little spin on everything. As it is, we've been practicing since the fall of last year and all of us have been sharing the singing responsibilities until we found someone to take over full-time and in a lot of ways I think that we're starting to hit a wall with that approach; I think that sharing the singing duties has kept us from being as creative with the songs as we'd like and it's splitting our focus a little bit with practices. We really need someone to come in and hit the ground running but we're all pretty nice folks and it's a low-pressure environment. In a perfect world we'd like to be gig-ready by the time warm weather really hits. We're doing a lot of older music with a poppy blues vibe to it right now including some Elvis, Beatles, Tom Petty, Bob Seger, Tennessee Ernie Ford, etc. but as I said we're hoping to start incorporating some original material soon.
