Make your very own 12 x 12 mosaic garden stepping stone. In this fun and creative class we will start with a concrete stepping stone. You will use stained glass, recycled glass, glass gems and a variety of other mosaic supplies to create your own one of a kind garden stepping stone! You will learn some basic glass cutting techniques for mosaics, as well as how to lay out, adhere and grout your design. Kim will have some sample designs, or you can use your own creativity and develop your own. The first 2 - 3 hours will be creating your stone, and the last hour will be for grouting. Kim Grant is a mosaic artist and loves to show others how to get started in this fun and wide ranging medium. Cost is $59.00 includes 4 hour workshop with all materials and tools. Ages 16+. Recommend masks for working with grout, and you may want gloves to work with glass. Stepping stones are heavy.
