I am WM off today and looking for a male to would like to get together today. . . . . I have played it all. If there's a style that you can imagine uses a sax I have likely done it, toured with it, recorded it, written charts for it, and/or run a band like it. Top 40, Blues, R&B, Ska, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Brass Band, Swing Band, Rockabilly, Jazz Combo, Did you listen to WRUV 1in 1993? I'm doing a research project on alternative and ambient music and I'm trying to locate Chris, last name unknown, a male student who was a WRUV DJ in 1993 for a radio show called "Tranquility Base". I enjoyed that show a lot and discovered some new music from it, and would like to not only let Chris know how much I enjoyed his show, but to see if he would be willing to provide some assistance in identifying a few pieces of music he played on air. Is there anyone able to point me in the right direction? Any help you can offer would be great..I am a drummer that has experience playing out and I am looking for a serious, committed band that has a eager to go all the way. We are looking for a vocalist who is proficient in both singing and screaming. Stylistic and tonal ‘fit’ is extremely important to us, along with the the ability to write catchy hooks and melodies (Jesse/Howard from Killswitch, Oli Sykes from BMTH, Matt Tuck from BFMV to name a few). Reliability, dedication, and energetic stage presence is an absolute must. Currently, we practice 1-2 times per week at the drummers house in Union Beach NJ, but we believe that distance shouldn’t be an issue. This band will only go as far as the work that all of us put in separately on our spare time. Even though we would like for the vocalist to be present as much as possible, a singer can realistically write and record on their own and come to practice once or twice per month (if distance is an issue).I am mostly into any type of music related to rock (hard rock, alternative, progressive), some metal, and pop. Have 3 drumsets- practice, gigging, recording. I have learned a lot from the mistakes of lots of bands, and myself over years. Studio recording can be very expensive, especially if you are not 100% ready for it. Let me analyze your sound and performance to ensure you will be ready to knock your album out as quickly,Mature seasoned lead guitar serious player tasteful with good chops looking for interesting project or established jam.
