After being employed for Ford for 17 yrs I find myself homeless. It all happened so fast. I spent most of 2021 in the hospital with underlying COVID conditions and Soo was on a respirator They say it was a miraculous recovery but I lost pretty much everything. Sleeping in vehicles, under bridges and no means of transportation, someone convinced me to ask for help. I had an interview with Coordinated Access and they out me in the waiting list for Rapid Rehousing which may take a year, I also got a SNAP card. I want to work! I have many skills, landscaping, small engine repair, automotive, moving & organizing, construction, electrical and other things. I am willing to trade my skills for a roof over my head or I would find a job somewhere I may be able to get rental assistance but she said I needed an address. I am devoted loyal hard working man. I'm just down on my luck with no immediate family around, times are very rough. I'm a fighter and I know something will come around. A roof and transportation I would be back in my feet in a year or less. I'm willing to work it off or if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. I slept in the back of a uhaul last night and froze ! I look up and ask God how long will this last?
