Tour de Foundry is a curated experience featuring the best of Fort Worth.
Laissez les bons temps rouler! The first Tour de Foundry of 2022 is here! Grab your krewe and meet us in Foundry on Fat Tuesday, March 1st at 4 pm for a bike ride full of brews, beads, bourbon, king cakes and a good ‘ole Mardi Pardi.
This ride will start and end in The Foundry District. Foundry is anchored by Inspiration Alley, one of the top “Outdoor Art Experiences” in the United States by Forbes and over 70+ pieces of fine art to be enjoyed in everyday life. It’s an exhibition of inspiration, where culture is not only crafted but found in the most unexpected of places.
Tour de Foundry Mardi Gras: Krewes + Brews will begin at 4 pm at Maple Branch Brewery! Enjoy a pour of your beer of choice and decorate your two-wheeled parade float so that it’s parade-ready. The parade will take off to Locust Cider on South Main for a tasting flight of ciders – including two brand new ones! No flight of ciders is complete without a treat, so plan on enjoying a slice of Gambino’s king cake – straight from the Big Easy. Next, the parade route will take you back to Foundry to Fort Worth best New Orleans bar – Tulane’s! The krewe will end the night at Tulane’s Mardi Gras party, which is sure to be something worthy of Bourbon Street. Enjoy their one-of-a-kind barrel-aged cocktails and authentic New Orleans libations.
The details: The route is approximately 10 miles in total. Participants will be provided a Fort Worth Bike Sharing e-bike upon arrival. Ticket price includes one pour of beer at Maple Branch, one flights of four pours of cider at Locust Cider, a generous slice of Gambino’s king cake, and two drink/food tickets for Tulane’s. Additional food and beverage purchases can be made at each stop.
This Mardi Gras ride is kind of a bead deal, don’t miss out!
