Senior Housing Options?

So many Seniors are lonely and with the high cost of senior facilities starting at over $4,000.00 per month (this price does not include meals) I have decided to learn what the Senior housing options are. So far, I learned that some seniors move into motels or hotels, some move onto ocean liners, and some move out of the country to avoid the higher cost of living. But,my favorite idea is Senior co-housing. For example, a group of like-minded Seniors in Canada bought a large comfortable house in which they share. They all have their own bedroom, and their home has a TV room and a community room and a garden. The utilities and maintenance are shared and include internet, TV and a cleaning service. etc. If I could start or join a housing situation like this the residence would need to pass an extensive background check, be nonsmokers, who do not indulge in drug/pot or excessive drink. They would need to be oflike mind: respectful and appreciate a clean well maintained enviorment. Guest sleep overs would not be allowed. A cleaning service would be included in the utilities/maintenance. and the residents would agree to have their bedrooms cleaned during each cleaning service visit. It would have heat and air-conditioning, internet, TV and preferably be on one level. The garden would be organic, and it would have raised vegetable beds. Ideally, the house would not be far from medical services. I would greatly appreciate comments regarding how to materlize this this endeavor.
