IRISH MYSTICS at The Venue The Venue is pleased to present IRISH MYSTICS, Thursday, March 17 at 8pm. Doors open 7pm. Advance Admission - Premium Seating - $15 Advance General Admission - $10. +$5 door INDOOR SHOWS: MASKS & VACCINATION REQUIRED FOR ENTRY All patrons will need to be fully vaccinated with an FDA emergency use-authorized vaccine in order to attend a show at The Venue. Proof of vaccination must be shown at the Box Office entrance, along with a photo I.D. to enter the event space. Patrons must be masked at all times, including during the show, except while consuming beverages while seated. Masks must cover the nose and mouth. ABOUT THE ARTISTS LONG TIME TOGETHER Jim 'Chevy' Chevalier, Rich Van Ham and David Sean Glynn have been playing together for over 20 years in the Empty Can Band and several years before that, Chevy and Dave performed hundreds of times at Irish pubs and festivals as the Dave Glynn band. A Night in Ballyferriter Dave returned to the home sod in September of 2019 and joined in a session at Brick's Pub. Oddly enough, they wanted him to play the Chicago Blues, they didn't want to hear any Irish songs. Looking to the Future A lad by the name of Andy Masters invited Dave to dinner and some magic took place. So Dave asked Andy to join The Irish Mystics along with his 1850's violin. At The Venue, we book nationally-recognized talent in all genres of music from blues and big band, to rock and world music, and everything in between. Frequently, our opening acts feature regional and local musicians and songwriters. Our listening room seats 200 with no obstructed views, and our outdoor stage area can fit several hundred festival fans. The Venue is operated by the Fox Valley Music Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to music education, promotion and preservation.
