He didn't say, "If you want to learn about God, come to the corner of Main and First on the Sabbath at 9:30 am, and I will tell you about God." No, Jesus went from place to place, encounter to encounter, from temptation to condemnation. This Lent you are invited to travel with Him as you reflect upon your spiritual journey. Each week we will reflect upon God's work through the travels and teachings of Jesus. Join us. Better yet, invite a friend, neighbor, or church member. We believe that St Paul UCC has an unique opportunity to leverage our current strengths, assets, and activities to enhance the quality of life for the people of Pekin in a way that promotes spirituality and an appreciation for both our church, and The Church. Furthermore, utilizing the Arts to explore and promote multiculturalism will aid in our church’s mission of bringing people together through love and mutual understanding at a time in our own community and in the world where both seem absent.
