Quality time for adults and children to help people in the community with a greater need. Join us for a fun afternoon where we will be helping out members of our community by creating meals and house to home kit in support of Housing Forward. Over the next several weeks, will be collecting supplies and funds to put together a House to Home kit for a family that will be transitioning into a home from homelessness. We will also assemble 40 brown bag meals for members of Housing Forward’s Interim Housing program. Housing Forward gives up to 60 clients a place to live for an interim period of 90 days while they work to access stable housing. By providing consistent, reliable food and shelter, the rate of success for transitioning to stability has increased greatly. HousingForward’s mission is to transition individuals and families from housing crisis to housing stability.More info can be found at HousingForward. We are looking for people to contribute funds to purchase supplies, cook the meal, assemble, and make cards to encourage and support.
