Spend your time on the frontline of this continuous battle as we remove honeysuckle, buckthorn, and Asiatic bittersweet from Brown's Woods Forest Preserve. We will meet at the old Brown’s Woods parking lot. Gear List: Bring work gloves, water, boots or shoes that can get dirty. Also dress in layers you can add and remove as you warm up while working. Stewards of Brown's Woods (SBW) is an all-volunteer organization operating under the direction and guidance of the Polk County Conservation Board’s Natural Resources Department. SBW was formed by skilled and dedicated volunteers to help maximize the effectiveness of the resources and to support the mission of the PCCB at Brown’s Woods and beyond.
