Needing to rehome a fully trained intact German Wirehair Pointer! We got him about 2 years ago when he was 4 years old from a professional German wire hair breeder out of kallispell, we avidly hunted upland birds over him and an occasional waterfowl hunt where he did amazing. His cons are, in the winter time it’s hard to keep weight on him he needs tlc throughout to maintain a healthy weight. Unfortunately since we moved into town he hasn’t been able to run the yard because he escapes, so he has to be chained while he’s out there… it’s just not fair to him. We want him to go to a home that he can enjoy being chain free. He needs a home that is free of cats and small animals…he is a hunting dog and does not mix with cats.
