See my videos too! Hi, I'm Max (Compatibility with dogs unknown). I am set to be euthanized 2/17, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Simply put, STRESS! I am a very loving dog and I have done nothing wrong. I am just struggling in kennel and shelter environment! It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I'm a 4-year-old, neutered, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier (58.6 lbs.). I came into the shelter as a stray. Although healthy, my weight should be monitored as I am a bit skinny. I am a love bug! I am VERY friendly and will lean in for petting. I love my doggie toys! (see the cute video with my ball in the kennel!) I play with them a lot! I "sit" for treats, but I'm a bit grabby when taking them. I can be jumpy too. I do calm down nicely after I have been out of my kennel. Sadly... Shelter life has gotten to me, and I am not handling living in my kennel anymore. I need a home where I can de-stress, get exercise, and have a predictable routine. It is recommended that I meet the entire family and be an only dog. I haven’t had a dog-to-dog evaluation at the shelter; so, if you have dogs in your home, you will need the ability to separate us initially and gradually introduce. I can't imagine this is how it could end for me...Will you save my life?
