BERKELEY, CA — One person has died following a crash in Berkeley Tuesday. Officers responded around 9:20 a.m. to a report of a solo-vehicle crash at the intersection of San Pablo and Ashby avenues, where a vehicle slammed into a light post. The driver was taken to the hospital, but police later confirmed that the person had died from their injuries. The investigation into the crash closed the intersection for several hours.
