Even from the earliest times, Christians had questions about spiritual gifts. Paul addressed some of those questions in 1 Corinthians.
It's encouraging– we have questions about things like "spiritual gifts," but then so did the earliest followers of Jesus. We're in good company!
This two-evening intensive will be focused on 1 Corinthians 12–14, reading and exploring how Paul addressed some of the questions the Corinthian Christians had about spirtual gifts. We might not be able to answer all of our own questions about such gifts, but listening to Paul will give us a great place to start.
This class will meet in person for two consecutive Tuesday evening, April 5th and 12th, starting at 6:30PM (EST). The class is being hosted by Resurrection Church, 900 North Main Street, Greer, SC 29651. Although the class is free, we ask you to register in order for us to plan accordingly.
Every Christian needs opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus and to deepen his or her understanding of Scripture (2 Peter 3:18). The River is a cooperative ministry venture focused on empowering and encouraging communities of faith through Biblical training, curricula, and mentorship. Through a growing understanding of Scripture, believers will discover a richness of Biblical truth that will supplement their journey in faith, enhance their joy in Jesus, and encourage them in ministry in their respective churches.
