Press release from the Benicia Historical Museum: November 10, 2020 "Every Who down in Benicia-ville liked the Tree Lot a lot … but the 2020 COVID-19 Grinch did not" (with apologies to Dr. Seuss) COVID-19 is the big "Grinch" factor forcing the cancellation of the BHM/Genesis House 2020 Christmas Tree Lot fundraiser – an annual event since 2009. The possibility of a mandated COVID shutdown – coupled with concern for the health and safety of our visitors and volunteers – has compelled us to make this unhappy but necessary decision.We apologize to those of you who have made our tree lot a part of your holidays, and wish you and yours a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season!
