VALLEJO, CA — A vehicle fatally struck a man in Vallejo early Monday morning, according to police. The collision was reported at 3:51 a.m. in the 3200 block of Sonoma Boulevard and officers arrived to find the victim in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his name is not yet being released. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the collision, police said. Vallejo police issued a release about the collision Tuesday morning, asking anyone with information about the case to call Officer K. Trimble at (707) 648-4011.
