Rehoming my Cockatiel due to recent financial issues and not being able to provide her the appropriate time and handling that she needs. I believe she is female but this is not 100% confirmed, this is based on my previous experience with birds. She will not come with her certificate as it has been lost in the recent move but she is just a little over a year old as her birthday was in January. She will come with some food and bedding that I have left, her cage and the few toys in there. She is very friendly, has been around cats and children. She does chirp occasionally, especially when someone is going in/out of your place. She has been handled frequently and I let her out almost every day, but she still needs training being picked up on the finger and staying. I had her doing pretty well but because of not spending enough time with her lately, she is now more comfortable flying out of her cage when she's ready and will fly to you and land on your head! She may try to fly on a curtain rod or perch like area first before flying to you. She WILL let you hold her and pet her and let you get close, but sometimes she will fly and takes a few tries to get her to stay so she is in need of more training that I cannot provide adequately, but she is such a sweet bird and loves being next to her human(s) when she is comfortable. I've had her for about 6 months. I bought her for $300.00 and I'm asking for $150.00 to ensure she will go to a good home that wants her and can take care of her.
