Description
Planning a ServSafe Manager Certification Course and exam to restaurant and food service professionals in the Santa Barbara area. The Course is taught in an integrated manner, incorporating all adult learning modalities (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) to enhance retention of materials presented. The Course is 8 hours.
There is a lunch break, as well as other breaks, as the information is comprehensive. The exam will be administered after the completion of the course.
The exam can take up to 2 hours to complete.
There is an option to take the exam online (personal laptop required) or in the written format.
(The online exam allows you to see your pass/fail immediately, and allows you access to print your certificate within 24 - 48 hours.) Written exams require more time to order and process.

You must purchase your ServSafe exam voucher prior to the exam date, from the ServSafe website. Please purchase the correct voucher for how you intend to take the exam (online - you must provide your own laptop) or written.
If your certificate is current (expiring soon), or recently expired, you may only need a review and update to current food code. California is an exam based state. There is no hours of study/instruction requirement.
