HEY YOU! Are you interested in Ecological Restoration? Do you like the idea of working outside this summer on some of Washington's most beautiful remaining prairies and oak woodlands? Helping rare species and their habitats? Staying active, learning a lot, being part of a team, and working hard enough to sleep deeply at night? We care deeply for this landscape and are looking for folks to join our team who are motivated by knowing their actions (even if tedious at times!) are doing good for the land. We welcome candidates with: • Enthusiasm and a stewardship ethic! • Stamina and interest in working long days in the field! • Experience with team settings and physical work (outdoor work a plus!) • Timeliness, reliability and a commitment to safety! *** No direct experience or education required*** We will provide: • A supportive work environment to ensure safe and effective operations. • Necessary training, including NWCG fire training for relevant positions • Required PPE such as: safety glasses, hard hats, gloves. • Nomex, line gear, and boots for positions involved in fire operations.
