Bass Player Available – Westford, MA I’ve been playing bass since the late 80’s. Like most players I’ve wandered in and out of some really great bands and some not so great. My last two bands, a classic rock band and a 70’s hard rock band, have kept me very busy. But I’ve recently relocated back to Massachusetts, my home State, and sadly had to give them up. So now I’m on the hunt for another great project where I can fit in comfortably and contribute. I can honestly say that I am skilled with my instrument. I play 4-string electric Fender American Jazz basses and my sound gear is top quality. I’m a team player. I do my homework, always come prepared and I’m genuinely open to constructive suggestions and comments. And like a soldier, I know how to take orders and perform for the team. Vocals are surely a “plus” for any musician looking for work. In my case, I’ve always had a mic on stage, and when possible, I have contributed to vocal harmonies. However, I cannot claim to be a vocalist. So, if you need a strong vocalist, I will not be a good candidate. If you’re looking for a bassist who lives and breathes to create a solid rhythm section for a great band and who’s main instrument is “absolutely the bass” then it may be worth your while to contact me. My preferences would be to join a working band performing Rock, Rockabilly, Classic Rock, 70’s Hard Rock, 60’s era Rock, R&B, Classic or New Country music. Tribute bands would also be of genuine interest. Generally speaking, I’m open to almost any opportunity as long as the music is performed professionally and the members are friendly, supportive and dedicated to excellence.
