My 12 year old son and 5 year old daughter have done an AMAZING job organizing and cleaning our garage. They were promised a bigger (5 gal) fish tank and a few more fish if I could pick the project I needed done. It's time for me to keep up my end of the bargain. When we went to the pet stores and Walmart, we were all shocked at how much a 5 gallon tank costs!! These are hard times for us all and the kiddos were very understanding when I said I would try and find an inexpensive or free one. We are making regular rounds to all the secondhand stores. Now I am also asking if anyone in our community has a fish tank they're not using or if you know somebody who does. It would mean the world to two little kids who really deserve it.
