Description

Three bunnies, all born in 2018 and are spayed/neutered. I have a 14-month-old toddler and a baby due in April and do not think I will be able to provide the same level of care that these rabbits deserve. Posting this now to give time to find the right family. All three bunnies are bonded. Rabbits are social animals and do better in pairs. We ended up with a third bunny, and since he bonded with the other two we kept him. Bonding rabbits is not easy! It cannot be done unless the rabbits are all spayed/neutered and their personalities have to get along also. I would prefer to keep all three bunnies together, but I realize it's unlikely someone will want all three so I'm willing to separate them. Rabbits that are spayed/neutered are much more calm and friendly and easier to litter box train. They also live longer (bunnies live about 10 years). None of these bunnies bite. Even my one year old climbs into their enclosure and gives them treats. They're a little afraid of him, but have never scratched or bitten him. Winnie is a Netherland Dwarf rabbit. She is small and very intelligent. Even though she's the smallest of the three, she's the boss. She's very friendly and likes to be held. She is white with some grey and has pointy ears. Rey is a Mini Lop rabbit. She is a beautiful calico color and has a cute mohawk and floppy ears. Rey is the biggest of the three (still very small), but is also the most independent. She does not like to be picked up, but will sit on a lap to be petted. Amadeus is an albino Lionhead rabbit. We think he has poor vision. He's so fluffy and (unfortunately) gets neglected the most because he really should be brushed at least once a week. Amadeus is so sweet and will teeth purr when given attention. I started out fostering Amadeus and ended up keeping him when he bonded with the other two and I got too busy to take him to his adoption events. Baby bunnies are always cute and sweet, but as soon as the hormones kick in they can become aggressive. We got Winnie and Rey at the same time and threw them together, but after about a month when they started to get hormones they would fight and we had to separate them, have them spayed, and then re-bond them. These rabbits are adults so their temperaments and appearance won't change. If you take all three bunnies I can send you home with all of their supplies (food, hay, treats, litter boxes, litter, food bowls, water bowl, bunny enclosure, play structure that my husband constructed for them, pet carrier, brush, nail trimmers, etc). 100's of dollars worth of bunny supplies. If you can only take one or two then I'll send you with what I can but will obviously need to keep some stuff until I can find homes for all of the bunnies. If you've never owned a rabbit before I can also show you what I do to take care of them. These bunnies are inside bunnies. They are used to having space to hop around and really shouldn't be kept in a cage. One bunny might do okay in a cage if you let them run around when you're home, but a cage is too small for two bunnies. We have two x-pens that are put together for their enclosure now. If you are interested send me an email with your phone number and I will call or text back to arrange a time for you to meet the bunnies.
