Blackberry Moon Produce is a commercial vegetable farm located west of Baxter Springs KS. The farm focuses on high volume production and organic farm practices. Production is year-round including low intensity greenhouses. Position: Farm Assistant Duties  Harvest, sort, and pack seasonal vegetables  Assist in organic methods of pest and weed control  Evaluate and report on production  General farm labor Qualification  A passion for local and sustainably produced food  A positive attitude  Ability to lift and carry 50lbs  Ability to perform tasks that require bending or kneeling for several hours  Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions  An ability to identify a variety of fruits and vegetables is preferred Compensation: Starting at $14.00 based on experience. Availability: Currently seeking applicants for 20 to 25 hours a week.
