Lovely Landscapes and Gardens, LLC. is looking for experienced gardeners to join our Garden Maintenance crew for the 2022 season. We are a full service landscaping company providing landscape installations, enhancements, design and garden maintenance services throughout the Boulder County area. Our company specializes in creating beautiful, eco-friendly, unique landscapes and garden spaces. We strive to provide excellent service to our customers and a healthy, happy work environment for our contractors and employees. We currently have positions open for Full-Time and Part-Time Gardeners (minimum 3 days/week). Our work season is typically from March 15th - November 30th. GARDEN MAINTENANCE CREW - Duties Include: • Work on a crew with 2-3 other people, in a safe, efficient, co-operative manner. • Using appropriate gardening tools. • Weeding - Identifying and removing weeds from garden beds carefully and efficiently. • Pruning or trimming ground-level trees, shrubs, or hedges. (Training will be provided if needed.) • Planting seeds, bulbs, plants, trees and shrubs. • Trimming garden plants & flowers, cleaning up and rejuvenating flower beds. • Installation of mulch, weed barrier systems, decorative rock, organic compost and organic fertilizers. • Debris & leaf clean-up - raking, loading and unloading debris, clearing branches, leaves, dirt, rocks, mulch, etc. • Using hand tools & small power tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruners, pruning saws, gas trimmers & blowers. • Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and work outdoors for 8 hours/day in various weather conditions. • Must be able to install an app on your cell phone for scheduling/time tracking on your phone. (We will train you.) • Must have your own transportation and be able to get to different job sites each day. ** Some gardening/landscaping experience is required. ** Plant knowledge & Pest ID knowledge is a plus. ** Tree & Shrub pruning experience is a plus. ** Availability 4-5 days/week is a plus. (Minimum of 3 days a week is required.) Garden Crew Compensation is $17/hr - $20/hr **(Depending on experience and skill level) ** We are looking for hardworking crew members with a positive attitude. Ideal candidates have some gardening experience, a willingness to learn, work efficiently and safely, pay attention to detail and can work well with others as a team.
