It was early Friday afternoon and I had decided to stop in for a quick drink and to unwind. After a few minutes I noticed you were also alone. You: a female maybe 45-50, medium length brunette. I was the guy sitting 3 bar stools down on your right. We made eye contact a couple of times. I hesitated to strike conversation not knowing if you were waiting on someone. Two adults, both with a little more weight than we probably felt comfortable with, sitting alone on a Friday afternoon having a drink. Sorta sad when you think about it. If nothing else we could have shared a few minutes just chatting. Maybe next time. :)
