I am a self-employed plumbing contractor. I'm digging and repairing a sewer line in Warren, Michigan on Thursday. I need 1 or 2 good helpers to assist. The job is outside and will take 8-10 hours to complete. An excavating machine will remove the sawcut cement from the road and dig down to the sewer line. I will be the main person in the trench. Your duties will include digging, passing me tools & parts, setting up road barricades, assisting with PVC sewer repair, running a gas powered tamper to compact as we backfill the hole, laying and flattening cold patch asphalt, cleanup, and all around general assistance. Your shoes/boots will get muddy. Expect it. If you have any experience with this type of work, or working with any of these tools or materials, please contact me if you want to work. Pay is based on skill and experience. Cash at end of day. Could lead to further work.
