We are looking for bright energetic individuals to join our team of Delivery Drivers and Helpers. Our Drivers and Helpers are responsible for the delivery and setup of merchandise in the customers’ home (if needed). At Pelpaz, we specialize in logistics for home furnishings. We currently have immediate openings for Non-CDL Local Box / Straight Truck Drivers in the Atlanta Metro Area. We are also hiring Full-time and Part-time delivery drivers and helpers. Specific Duties * Operate the delivery vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. * Setting up furniture and securing goods as needed. * Maintaining high performance levels by keeping within the customer time window. * Accurately communicate and document the delivery transaction with customer using a mobile device. * Specialized manual labor operating a 26-foot box truck for local pick up and deliveries of furniture or other merchandise associated with furniture * Assist in unloading deliveries to customer Requirements * Drivers must Be At Least 21 Years of Age * For Drivers you must possess a Valid Driver’s License * Helpers do not need a valid drivers license but you do need valid state ID. * Must be able to pass Background requirements * Must be punctual, reliable, physically fit and able to lift packages up to 100 lbs w/use of Dollies/Hand trucks ect. * At least 1 year of professional delivery driving experience in last 3 years (preferred but not required ) Our Expectations · Conduct deliveries and distribute products promptly to our customers on a daily basis. You will represent our company in a professional manner by providing excellent customer service. · Delivery Teams are professional, courteous, and genuinely enjoy working with people. Solid communication skills, a working knowledge of electronics, and dependability are necessary. Drivers: Job Types: Full-time Our Driver Benefits: •Starting Pay $130- $150 Per day * Equipment provided * Deliver locally and go home every night Schedule: * Monday to Saturday * Day shift Supplemental Pay: * Bonus pay Work Location: One location COVID-19 considerations: We are protecting our staff and customers, we provide masks and gloves. Masks and gloves are required inside the warehouse and when entering customers home.
