If there's a style that you can imagine uses a sax I have likely done it, toured with it, recorded it, written charts for it, and/or run a band like it. Top 40, Blues, R&B, Ska, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Brass Band, Swing Band, Rockabilly, Jazz Combo, Wedding, Cover, classical ensemble, sax quartet, DJ, looping, pit orchestra, musicals, trad jazz, funeral bands, and on and on. I work with an NBA team running, arranging for, and performing with their brass band for all their home games.I'm moving to the Philly area soon and am looking to connect and gig. I play alto, tenor, and bari saxes and can double on flute and clarinet. I've been playing sax for 30 years, professionally for 20. I'm 46 and have pro gear/attitude/expectations. I have a degree in music and ten years of experience teaching private lessons. I can improvise, play by ear, and sight read very well. Music has been my full-time gig for the last ten years. Looking to build connections and start gigging in Philly as quickly as possible.Emmy winning, Grammy balloted dark acoustic rock singer/songwriter just moved to Topeka from LA. I have a couple of award winning duets ("She Rides Moonlight", "Immured" - please google them to get an idea of the style) and seek a female vocalist to perform and record with in the region. If you can play a stringed instrument or hand percussion, so much the better!I am a drummer that has experience playing out and I am looking for a serious, committed band that has a eager to go all the way. I am mostly into any type of music related to rock (hard rock, alternative, progressive), some metal, and pop. Have 3 drumsets- practice, gigging, recording. I have learned a lot from the mistakes of lots of bands, and myself over years. Studio recording can be very expensive, especially if you are not 100% ready for it. Let me analyze your sound and performance to ensure you will be ready to knock your album out as quickly, and inexpensively as possible. Gigs and rehearsals are when YOU are available, so if you play in another group, there won't be any conflicts. Rehearsals are in Bainbridge.
