Early access granted to fairies who are setting up in the fairy forest area as early as noon. We are mainly looking for fairies with good, or mostly good, intent. There will be a dedicated space for setting up a whimsical area for fairies, in the treeline atop a hill. We will have a tea party with fairies for children and adults, with Hemp & Tea Company as the vendor. Details: Historic Rural Hill's 265+ acre farm just N of Charlotte, NC 4431 Neck Rd, Huntersville, NC Elements: flowers, plants, fire, and nature. Artist-led | Featuring Queen City Cirque, Anne Harris, Tuatha Dea & more. Activities and exhibits for all ages to enjoy. What/who: Concerts, Fire Performances, Art, Food Trucks, Beer Garden, Pilates, Field Games, Silent Auction, Fairy Village If you're interested in being a part of the event as a fairy or just coming dressed as a fairy, we'd love to have you add your magic! BrightFire is a modern interpretation of Beltane (as you may know) developed by herdsmen in ancient Scotland, Ireland, and Man. It marked the beginning of summer and the end to a difficult life-threatening winter. BrightFire shares the essence of Beltane by translating it to the here and now for the people around us, to share in celebrating Life, Hope, and Renewal after the dark period we've all been emerging from.
