Casual driver position, may lead to FT in the future and may be shared with another, ideal for a retired person that does NOT want to be tied down, open for a sub to back up our current drivers for vacations and time off. We schedule 5 weeks in advance and our current staff does not do last minute call ins. Some van truck experience is helpful and you will drive a 16' lo pro box van truck and operate a liftgate. Work days are no more than 6 hours per day, split between the am & pm, similar to school bus operations. Full paid training provided and must be able to lift 70 lbs (rarely) and handle wheeled containers. This is not a home delivery position as we deliver to the same Post Offices daily. Our vehicle and you are on the payroll with full benefits and NO 1099 at the end of the year. Clean license (some violations accepted) and must pass USPS security screening.
