We deliver wedding and party rental decor (arches, candelabras, champagne displays, etc) throughout OC and need a night-time pick up driver with their own standard pick-up truck (because most of our business is in San Diego and all of our trucks are there). Most weddings: **Are in south/central OC (San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna, Anaheim and occasionally Long Beach); occasionally in LA **Are on Friday, Saturday or Sunday **End at 10 or 11 pm; 6 - 7 pm if the items are being used for the wedding ceremony only; (you'll get paid extra for pick ups at midnight or later, although these are rare) **Take 30 minutes to 1 hour to pick up and load in truck; you'll always get paid for 2.5 hours minimum ($50) even if it takes 30 minutes to grab and load (which is often the case) This is an as-needed position (not every weekend), but you'll know your schedule weeks in advance so you're not tied down. We build/rent specialty modular wedding arches, wedding ceremony backdrops and tabletop candelabras/floral stands so items aren't heavy (like tables, chairs, tents, dance floors, etc). All disassemble and will fit in a standard pick-up truck and one person with a cart can easily handle the work. You'll take the products to a storage facility for us to retrieve later. This can be at the end of the wedding or the following day as long as your neighborhood is safe for leaving in your truck overnight. It doesn't have to go to storage the same night as we won't retrieve until the following week.
