Mosquito Shield is a first-class company specializing in residential Mosquito and Tick control. Duties include preparing van for applications and applying treatments to customer’s properties. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, possess a valid Massachusetts Pesticide License, is adaptable and teachable, and is a highly motivated self-starter. Compensation: • Average $900-$1,300 per week • Sign on bonus of $500 paid after successful employment at 60 days as well as an additional $500 after 120 days • End of the year bonus available based on performance • Average 7.5-8 hours per day; some Saturdays may be required • Work from April to October in a full-time seasonal position Required Personal Attributes: • Problem Solver • High Work Ethic • Good With People • Mechanical Aptitude • Clear Communicator Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for this Position: • Knowledge of the techniques of the use of public health insecticides, worker safety, and equipment used in public health pest control • Ability to mix materials accurately, consistently, and appropriately • Display the importance of safety in the workplace and on the road • Work effectively and cooperatively with managers, office personnel, other technicians, and customers Requirements: • Must have a clean driving record • Have the ability to carry a 40-pound backpack sprayer • A valid Massachusetts Pesticide License is necessary for the job, however, we are willing to work with the right candidate to obtain a pesticide license
