If there's a style that you can imagine uses a sax I have likely done it, toured with it, recorded it, written charts for it, and/or run a band like it. Top 40, Blues, R&B, Ska, Reggae, Hip Hop, Soul, Brass Band, Swing Band, Rockabilly, Jazz Combo, Wedding, Cover, classical ensemble, sax quartet, DJ, looping, pit orchestra, musicals, trad jazz, funeral bands, and on and on. I work with an NBA team running, arranging for, and performing with their brass band for all their home games.I'm moving to the Philly area soon and am looking to connect and gig. I play alto, tenor, and bari saxes and can double on flute and clarinet. I've been playing sax for 30 years, professionally for 20. I'm 46 and have pro gear/attitude/expectations. I have a degree in music and ten years of experience teaching private lessons. I can improvise, play by ear, and sight read very well. Music has been my full-time gig for the last ten years. Looking to build connections and start gigging in Philly as quickly as possible.I am a drummer that has experience playing out and I am looking for a serious, committed band that has a eager to go all the way. I am mostly into any type of music related to rock (hard rock, alternative, progressive), some metal, and pop. Have 3 drumsets- practice, gigging, recording. If you need videos I can send them through email.Every Friday starting in February, I will be holding an open mic night at 7 Hamlets in Westmoreland. 7 Hamlets is one of the best venues for music in the area. We also invite all musicians that are looking for other musicians to network and possibly start your own band. This will be a lot of fun at a great venue.
