This workshop is a basic calligraphy class using Brush Pens; you'll learn a full upper & lowercase alphabet as well as parts of letters Learn the art of brush lettering professionally from a local pro. This workshop is great for new brides to be looking to letter cards, stationery or wedding items. And also individuals who are just looking to learn a new skill. All attendees will be in a covered and safe space. A little about the venue: The Fig Room is a traditional Beach Bungalow designed to create an intimate event your guests will remember! This is a Do-It-Yourself event space. We provide an intimate space with tables, chairs, linens, and other decor for you to arrange to your imagination’s content. Enter through the enclosed porch, often used as a greeting area, into the main gathering space. We have 3 additional spaces: the bar, food room, and lounge to round out a comfortable set up. We have a total area of 1,500 square feet with capacity for 49 seated guests. A designated parking area is also available. Other amenities available upon request. About: Caroline Staniski is a Graphic Designer and Hand Lettering artist residing in Gainesville, FL. Currently, she is running her own one-woman led design business and has over 5 years of experience working to grow small businesses in Florida. She also holds a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from The University of Florida and a BFA from The University of North Florida. 60% German (via Ancestry DNA) - Her favorite beer is Hofbrau Dunkel. Prost!
