We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals who want to become Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and join our unique clinic! Behavior Technician Job Description: As a Behavior Technician you will work under the supervision of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will be providing direct behavior therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities. Under the guidance of our BCBA you will be implementing Applied Behavior Analytic (ABA) programs as written by the BCBA on a 1:1 ratio. RBT's are crucial for remediating skill deficits, coaching and teaching life-skills and working to eliminate problem behaviors. You will work in the clinic, community outings, and occasionally home visits up to 40 hours a week once certification is complete. Here at Pathway's we believe in our staff! Once you are employed with us, we will help you every step of the way as well as pay for the training courses, your certification applications, and your licensing fee's as long as you are employed with us! Minimum Requirements High School Diploma One year experience working with children Ability to Pass RBT Exam (see bacb.com for further information) Ability to complete the Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) training (40 Hours of Videos) within two weeks prior to your start date Availability to work Monday - Friday Interact in a positive manner with co-workers, clients, and families.
