Get to know the heroes of the natural wine movement. We’ve always been about good wine, made in small batches, by people who value terroir and farm responsibly to achieve it. Which aligns us pretty closely with the natural wine movement. In this class with Director of Education Brittany Galbraith, we’ll learn about the natural wine philosophy, where it comes from, and how it has shaped today’s movement. We’ll unravel the stories of producers who changed the game and continue to push the boundaries, like Marcel Lapierre, André Ostertag and Domaine Gramenon to Hiyu Wine Farm, La Perdida and Gut Oggau. And we’ll taste different styles of wine to get to know all the different ways “natural” can present itself.
